A word of thanks, a little recognition

Many times I have shared that it is the little things, the things that you may see as insignificant, that affect people’s lives in ways you cannot imagine. These last two days, I had the opportunity to witness, recognize, and say thanks for a few of those little things. Little things that not only directly impacted me, but so many others. “So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness” (Colossians 2:6, NIV). This week, I am overflowing with thankfulness for these amazing people that God has put in my life. People that are selfless and not self serving. People who live faithful lives that in turn enable them to encourage others. People who have built their foundation in our Father, overcoming all the storms thrown at them by trusting God. So today, I want to give a word of thanks, and a little recognition.
