Day 30

Wow! I never imagined when I started down this road that I would sit down and write for 30 days in a row. My commitment to myself was that I would write when I felt inspired…and amen, have I been inspired. I am so thankful for God in my life and those He has placed to provide not only inspiration, share their stories, but also provide me with much needed affirmation and encouragement to continue to use my voice. Today-I say thank you!

I am thankful for those little moments, for those God winks. I am thankful for the homeless man that I find on the street corner that reminds me to love my fellow man-that we are all God’s children regardless of how our walks may differ. I am thankful for chance encounters that do not happen by chance as I sat in the two days of the She Speaks conference that I attended for the sake of another and quickly realized God put me there because I needed to be there. I am thankful for dear friends and fellow believers that regardless of how much time has passed since our last meeting, we connect as if it were yesterday. I am thankful for the kind notes, text messages, and replies to my blog letting me know the messages are getting across. I am thankful for the opportunity to open my eyes and ears to see God’s work in my everyday and to be able to share it with each of you.

Today, I leave you with this verse and encourage you to be bold in your faith, to be outspoken in your ministry, and to answer when called.

“ I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds. I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High” (Psalm 9:1-2, NIV).
